Murphy and I had a nice day yesterday at Harewood House visiting the Yorkshire Game Fair. There was lots to see although I was a little scared of all the noisy guns and we had to put our coats on to come home as we were so wet!
We met with our friends Milly, Fergus, Duggie and Max. Max got a perfect score on one of the scurry tests, so well done to him. Fergus and Duggie had spent Sunday on the WSSC stand in Discover Gundogs which looked really good with all the new photographs - Milly on a snowball was the favourite with all the visitors to the stand.
We met three very smart looking Welshies called Murphy, Harry and Spot on the WSSC stand. Murphy won Best Puppy at Crufts this year.

Happy Birthday ..
.. to my human cousin Hannah who is 21 today. I'm told that 21 is a very special human birthday, so I expect she will have a great big cake. Murphy and I sent her some yummy chocolates and bubbly stuff - not the sort that goes in a bath I hope!

I smell a rabbit ...
.... but I haven't seen him yet!
Don't know where he's come from, but he's living in our garden and eating all the new plants Michael and I planted last weekend.
Michael's not pleased ..!

Day Out
Murphy and I had a great day out last Friday with Auntie Debbie and her boys. Fergus and Max did some of their gundoggy stuff and then we all went for a long walk.
Not sure why Mum called me 'a little toad' - perhaps it was because I ran off to explore on my own and didn't listen to her when she called me back. Going back on my lead when she caught up with me was actually quite nice as I was shattered!
Saturday was spent in the garden with Michael planting out tiny bits of green stuff. He says they will grow bigger and until then I have to stay off them. I say, don't get out the big yellow pipe thingy that sprays water then if you want me to stop bouncing around the garden.

Visitor
Sandra's Mum has come to stay with us for the weekend as Sandra and Michael are going to Ireland.
Don't know what Ireland is, but I'm told I might be going there in the summer for a few days.

Busy Week
On Tuesday I went to training class and saw all my friends there. I was especially pleased to see Pebbles and she gave me a great welcome back from my holiday.
Yesterday we had a great day out at Auntie Debbie's house. We went for lunch, so I had loads of time to chase about with Max and Fergus. After lunch we did some agility, but I was so tired after my hectic morning I kept knocking the jumps down. Finally home to a BIG sleep - after dinner and a bedtime biscuit that is.

Home again
We are home again after our holiday and everything is as I left it. The garden is still there and so are the local cats who have been to say hello already.
Mum's been busy today clipping me and making me look less like a 'woolly bear' (her words) and I must admit I do look smart. Off to see how Clumber Park has fared without me later.
