We've unwrapped our mobile kennel and he is now at home for a few days before we head off for our first trip away this year next weekend.
I think Mum had gone off the idea of staying in the caravan after the two weeks we had last September (lots of rain and Dad on crutches), but we are all very positive about next weekend. Mum says there's loads to do before we can go - sounds exhausting.
As long as she remembers our beds and food, I don't mind what else she packs!

Mum's new baby!
A couple of weeks ago Aunty Debbie gave Mum a tomato plant called Craig. Actually, I think his posh name is Craigella, but we have come to know and love him as Craig.
We have been looking after him, feeding and watering regularly especially while it has been so sunny the last few days - he is living on the patio table, well away from us Mum says.
Today is very special because we've found two teeny tomatoes growing on him.
I know they are only tiny, but we are so excited!!

Mum on a mission!
I don't know what's got into her this week, but we've been up and out for our walk by about 7.30 every morning!
She says it is to have a nice walk before it gets too hot - I think it's 'cos she's busy and wants to tick us off her list as 'done for the day'. Either way it's been really nice having early walks in the sunshine and then coming home for breakfast and a snooze.

Posh tea
Mum went to London at the weekend for tea!
I thought it was a long way to go for a few sandwiches and cake (although she said there was loads of cake), but she, Christine and Nana all agreed that tea at the Ritz was lovely - and the lemon drizzle cake was 'to die for' apparently.
Mum did seem very excited about sharing the photo below with everyone. Yes, it's a cup of coffee with a cat in it - quite cute really.

Long weekend
We've had three lovely sunny mornings this weekend and so have had early walks in Clumber on each day. It's exhausting all this running off lead stuff. Dad reckons I've run at least a mile more than everyone else each day.
We also think we've had a bit of a break through this weekend with trying to understand why Murphy has been sound asleep most evenings. Not unusual for a chap I would admit, but not what one would expect from our Murph when it comes to Chew Time.
To explain for those who don't know us that well, Chew Time happens every evening at 9pm or earlier if Murphy is being persuasive or sitting in front of the tv screen. These days we have a Laughing Dog Biscuit Cake, before I came along Murphy used to have a Dentastix. On some occasions in the last few weeks, Mum has had to wake Murphy up to have his biscuit and now we think we know why ... she has been giving him one of his tablets for his stiff joints at dinner time and she thinks they make him sleepy, hence fast asleep under the curtains all evening!
Last night he didn't have his tablet at dinner time and guess what ..... we had Chew Time early!! Nice one S'Murph.
