Update

It is ages since I posted here but what have we been up to?  Well I can't actually think of anything really except the usual walks and fun.

I do have a funny video to share. I was in the garden last week with Murphy when he decided he wanted to play although when I said 'yes come on then' he chickened out.

Clumber in the sunshine

There's nothing better than a lovely walk at Clumber on a crisp winters day with lots of lovely sunshine.

Of course it helps if you have your bestest big brother with you.  Here he is happily sitting on the back of Mum's (much happier and fixed) car.

Post Christmas weigh-in

So there we were thinking we were off out somewhere nice in the car and we ended up at the vets for our regular weigh-in.

Now most hoomans (and some dogs) do put on weight over the Christmas period ... but not ME!!  Oh no, I have lost a little bit since November and now come in at 23.7kgs.  Mum said she is very pleased with me, although I still have a little bit to loose.

Now Murphy on the other hand has put weight on and is now 23kgs which Mum said is ok but doesn't want to be any higher.

What I want to know is where has he been getting all the extra food and treats from to put on weight?  I have clearly been missing out somewhere.  Dad thinks it is from the extra biscuits Mum gives him when he gets her up in the night to go outside ...now we know why he wakes her and not Dad - Dad doesn't give him the extra biscuit to go back to bed with!

He's a smart boy our Murphy!!

That's Christmas Done!

So it must be all over because Mum and Dad have spent the day taking down the declorations and tree.  Everywhere looks quite empty now but Mum says it looks nice and tidy.  Give me time to get the toys out!

Here are our boxes waiting to back into the loft - seems a lot of effort for just a couple of weeks.

New Year Revolutions

I've been thinking about them a lot (in between snoozing and going out this morning to see the South Notts Hunt meet in Newark which was great) and have come up with the following list:

1. Be a good boy for the hoomans (shouldn't be difficult as Mum says I am the best puppy in the world, altho I am nearly 6?)

2. Always eat my dinner (tick!)

3. Be good when I am being groomed especially when she who must be obeyed uses the clipper thingies (hate those but must admit it's nice carrying less weight on my ears - that's for you Aunty Debbie)

4. Always look out for Murphy (easy, he's my brother and I love him even if he is a bit annoying when it takes him ages to eat his dinner!)

5. Carry on being a loveable rogue (Mum's words)

So there we are.  Not too bad a list I think and one I should be able to stick to.

Happy New Year to everyone reading this and I hope we all have a great year with lots of fun, holidays and treats!
