We had a lovely day out last Thursday when we met Aunty Debbie, Fergus and Inca for a walk at Ostlers Plantation in Woodhall.
Although it was quite a warm day we had the whole wood to ourselves and never saw anyone until we got back to the cars. That was great for me because it meant that Mum let me run free for the whole walk ... and I was very highly praised too as I was a good boy and went to her every time she called me.
After we had finished our walk the hoomans did what they usually do and had lunch. After that we went back to Fergus's house to hear more about his planned summer walk and for Aunty Debbie and Mum to talk about making leaflets and stuff to tell everyone what the chap is planning.
So here it is.
Not content with leaving his walking talents at the Norfolk Coastal Path, in June and July Fergus is taking the hoomans on a 190 mile walk from St Bees to Robin Hood's Bay. This is called Wainwright's Coast to Coast and is being done to raise money for those lovely people at the Animal Health Trust (AHT) who have done so much to find out about the causes of SCI and glaucoma in dogs.
Fergus will shortly have a fund raising profile on the Meet Our Fundraisers page of the AHT website at this address http://www.aht.org.uk/meetourfundraisers
If you would like to help support the AHT you can through his Virgin Money Giving page at

I will be posting regular updates both here and on my Facebook page, so watch this space!
