We got trimmed!

What more can I say?

Only 3 sleeps

It's only 3 sleeps to go before we head off on our summer holiday and Murphy and I are soooo excited!!

The caravan (our kennel on wheels) came home at the weekend and we've been busy sorting out all the stuff we need to take with us.  You know, things like  ... biscuits, treats, dinner bowls, beds, leads and collars for the beach, towels, a couple of toys ... that sort of thing. 

Mum's been busy making a list of what she needs to do before we go - it seems quite a  lot but I am pleased to say 'food for boys' is quite near the top of it.  I've also seen 'trim boys' listed as a thing to do.  Hmmm, let's hope she's too busy doing the other stuff to get around to that one!

Birthday Boy

Mum has been busy arranging for us to meet up again with Holly, Milly and Percy (along with their humans of course) for another lovely walk like we did a few weeks ago.  Whilst doing that, she found out that Percy has had a birthday - he was TWO earlier this week, and look .... he had candles!

I'm off now to leave a note for Mum that I want candles next year.

A question

Mum had a nice walk all planned for us this morning as we didn't get out too far yesterday - we had a quick run across the field before breakfast, then  she went to work for a couple of hours and then it poured with rain for the rest of the day.
So this morning we were planning to go across the fields near where we live for a lovely long walk.  It wasn't too sunny.  It wasn't windy or cold either - so perfect weather for a yomp.  Until ... we had been walking for about half an hour and it started to rain and rain.

So here's the question (actually I have two) ....
    why does it always start to rain when you are at the furthest point from home?   and
    why does Murphy never come home looking as wet as me?

We've had an email today from our friend Pickle's Mum.  She is being a foster Mum to two puppies called Belle and Susie who are 12 weeks old and she thinks could be spaniel/retriever/Labrador cross - although she does admit she's not too sure as they are rescue dogs.

Pickle's Mum is looking for a home for the puppies and say that they sleep through the night, are good with cats, very loving and clever.  If anyone out there would be keen to give one of these girls a good home, please contact me and I will forward your details.
