Holiday

We are just back from our annual trip to Northumberland.  No Roman day this year, probably for the first time ever, but we managed some lovely walks on the beach and had a generally very relaxing time.

We went to Lindisfarne and Holy Island on Wednesday which was mobbed with people and dogs, so not to my liking  Mum was not happy either because, as she said 'it's being ruined'.... I think that was because she didn't approve of the huge burger van parked at the start of the walk up to the castle!

We have added another favourite to our list of favourite beaches - Druridge Bay.  I think this is what a boy would call having the beach to yourself
