We went for a nice walk along the Hoe where Mum gave us a history lesson about Francis Drake (below), a game of bowls and a load of ships.
The Hoe has great views across Plymouth Sound
Just keeping an eye open for any stray ships!
After our morning at Plymouth we went on to see a house and gardens at Cotehele
It had some great gardens and a very steep walk down to its own quay where we found this boat called Shamrock (Dad was pleased with the Irish connection!) which is over 100 years old.
We had a sit down before we tackled the big walk back up the hill to collect the car.
